Deepak Katyal

Deepak Katyal is an experienced tax professional currently serving as the Director of Taxation at MakeMyTrip since October 2008, where responsibilities include managing direct and indirect taxation for the group and its overseas subsidiaries, focusing on transaction tax planning, business structuring, compliance, litigation, and advisory work. Prior roles at MakeMyTrip included Senior Manager, Taxation Manager, and Deputy Manager, involving leadership in tax departments and assignments related to IFRS consolidation, accounting, and auditing. Earlier experience includes a position as Executive - Taxation at EY, specializing in income taxation and SEZ advisory work.
