Matheus Bitarães de Novaes

Matheus Bitarães de Novaes has accumulated experience in various companies and roles since 2011. Matheus started as an intern of mechatronics at Metalfisa in 2011 and worked as an analyst of engineering parts and accessories at Fiat Spa from 2012-2014. In 2015, they engaged as a work experience/scientific researcher at ARCAA involved in the calibration of thermal cameras for health analysis on crops and researching algorithms for wildlife recognition. Then they worked as an intern at ENACOM for Matlab implementations in the field of game theory and optimization. Matheus then worked as a product definition analyst in the LATAM MOPAR team at FCA Fiat Chrysler Automobiles from 2016-2018. In 2018, they worked as a global innovation analyst at FCA Latam (Fiat Chrysler Automobiles). Matheus then became a systems analyst and squad lead at Omnilogic from 2019-2021. Matheus'slast work experience was as a back-end software engineer at the Americanas.js in 2021-2022. Matheus is working as a software engineer at Draft (fka Contentfly) starting from June 2022.

Matheus Bitarães de Novaes earned a Technical degree in Mechatronics from the CENTRO FEDERAL DE EDUCAÇÃO TECNOLÓGICA DE MINAS GERIAS in 2011. Matheus then pursued their undergraduate degree in Systems Engineering from Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais, graduating in 2018. In 2015-2016, they were an International Student at QUT (Queensland University of Technology) where they studied Systems Engineering. From 2020-2022, Matheus completed their Master's in Engineering with a specialization in Computational Intelligence from Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais. Matheus also received several certifications, including one from Google Cloud Platform, in Big Data and Machine Learning. In 2019, they completed the course "Git and Github for Beginners" from Udemy, and in 2018, they completed courses in "Statistics for Business Analytics and Data Science A-Z" and "Machine Learning A-Z: Hands-On Python & R in Data Science," both of which were also offered by Udemy. In 2017, they obtained a certificate in English from EF Education First.
