Nelson Truong

Nelson Truong has worked for six companies since 2010. Their most recent role as a Product Manager for Maker AI began in June 2021. Prior to that, between 2016 to 2019, they worked for SapientRazorfish as a User Experience Designer, where they designed scalable platforms from a systems design and user-centric perspective. In 2014, they worked as a User Experience Design Intern for Jackman Reinvents where they researched grocery shopping experiences and investigated social channels for a retail client. In 2013, they worked for BNY Mellon as a Business Analyst, specializing in developing KPI dashboards and reports for clients and relationship managers. Nelson also implemented process improvement projects to increase the efficiency of reporting practices. In 2012, they worked as an Internal Audit IT Intern for Ontario Ministry of Finance. And finally, in 2010, they worked as a Call Centre Sales Representative for Mystique Marketing.

Nelson Truong completed their high school education from Westdale Secondary School during the years 2006 to 2010. Nelson received an Ontario Scholars degree with Summa Cum Laude honors. Later, they went on to attend the University of Toronto from 2010 to 2015, where they completed their Bachelor of Applied Science degree in the field of Industrial (Systems) Engineering.
