Brian Avello

Brian Avello is the current General Counsel at MakerDAO. Brian has also served as the Litigation Associate Attorney at Stagg, Terenzi, Confusione & Wabnik LLP from March 2014 to August 2015, and as the President & General Counsel at MJBA-Tech from November 2012 to March 2014. In addition, Brian Avello is the founder of Avello P.C., a law firm that specializes in blockchain and distributed ledger technologies.

Brian Avello studied history as an undergraduate at the University of Miami, before going on to law school at the University of Michigan. Brian then attended Washington and Lee University for their JD. Brian began their education at Cardinal Newman High School.
