Bob Knetzger

Bob Knetzger has extensive work experience in the toy industry. Bob started their career at Mattel in 1976 as a Research Projects Manager, where they worked on various toy projects including Barbie, Hot Wheels, and educational toys. Bob received several awards for their work during their time at Mattel. In 1982, Bob co-founded Neotoy and served as an owner alongside their business partner. They created and licensed many successful products, including the Doctor Dreadful line of food toys and innovative premiums for Cap'n Crunch cereal. In 2007, Bob joined Make: as a contributor and columnist.

Bob Knetzger began their education in 1972 at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, where they pursued a dual major in Art and Engineering. Bob completed this program in 1974. Following this, they attended Arizona State University from 1974 to 1976 and obtained a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Design.
