Alex Dvorkin has a diverse work experience in finance and accounting roles. Alex is currently working as the Head of Finance at Makers since April 2022. Prior to this, Alex served as the VP of Finance at Think Research from September 2020 to April 2022, and as the Director of Finance from February 2020 to August 2020. Alex also worked as a Controller at Fanxchange from September 2016 to December 2019, where they were involved in financial forecasting, due diligence calls, and operational reporting. Before that, Alex worked as a Senior Accountant at Monte-Lisi & Smith from January 2014 to August 2016, managing audit and review engagements and supervising junior staff members. Alex also served as a Senior Financial Analyst at SNC Lavalin (Global Mining and Metallurgy) from November 2012 to January 2014, where they managed Latin American business units and implemented a new management reporting package. Earlier in their career, Alex worked as a Senior Accountant - Audit at KPMG from September 2009 to November 2012, and as a Research Associate at IDC from May 2008 to August 2008.
Alex Dvorkin attended Western University from 2005 to 2007, where they obtained a MOS degree in Business. From 2007 to 2009, they studied at the Ivey Business School at Western University, though their degree and field of study during this time are unknown.
