Jennifer Auten has a diverse work experience in various educational and research roles. Starting in 1991, they worked as a researcher at the Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory until 1993. From 1993 to 1999, they worked in a research position at Systemix. In 2003, Jennifer joined the Cupertino Union School District as a teacher and remained there until 2018. During their time at the district, they served as a 3rd-grade teacher at The Inspired Teaching Demonstration School from 2019 to 2022. Jennifer also worked at Summit Public Schools as a 7th-grade math teacher and 6th-grade mentor from 2018 to 2019. In 2022, they held the role of a Curriculum Specialist at Osmo before moving to Makers Empire as a Customer Success Manager. Jennifer is currently an Education Specialist at Small Business Consulting Corporation (SBCC).
Jennifer Auten holds a Master of Science (MS) degree in Molecular Biology from California State University Hayward. Jennifer also has a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree from Georgetown University. In addition to their formal education, Auten has obtained various certifications, including a Group 2: Playtester certification from the CITI Program, Confluence Fundamentals Badge and Jira Fundamentals Badge from Atlassian, and several training certifications from LinkedIn, Coursera, and Link Group (LNK).
