In 2014, Alicia worked at the City of Waterloo as a Program and Facility Associate and later as a Customer Service Associate. Their responsibilities included providing customer service, overseeing user groups and programs, and handling facility bookings and registrations.

From 2015 to 2016, Alicia worked as a Day Camp Counselor at YMCA of Greater Toronto, where they planned activities, supervised children, and addressed parental concerns.

Alicia Medeiros has a diverse educational background. Starting in 2008, they attended St. Aloysius Gonzaga Secondary School, where they completed their high school education. After that, from 2012 to 2016, Alicia pursued their Bachelor's Degree in Honours Psychology at the University of Waterloo. During their time at the university, they also obtained minors in Human Resource Management and Social Development Studies.

In 2019, Alicia enrolled in George Brown College and completed a Certificate in Art & Design Foundations, which they pursued until 2020. Following this, Alicia furthered their education at the University of Toronto from 2021 to 2022, where they obtained a Certificate in User Design Experience.

In addition to their formal education, Alicia also obtained a certification in Standard First Aid with Level C CPR & AED from St John Ambulance in November 2016.
