Max Riis Christensen has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Max founded MakesYouLocal in 2010 and currently holds the position of founder. Max's first professional experience was as the director of sales at AOK.dk, where they contributed to the company's development and played a key role in hiring and training the salesforce from January 1998 to February 2001. Finally, they worked as a key account manager at Scala Computer Television from 1996 before moving on to other ventures.

Max Riis Christensen attended Aarhus University from 1990 to 1994, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Sales and Marketing. In December 2018, they also received a certification in the 2-Day Growth Hacking Crash Course from Growth Tribe Academy.

We help with the initial strategic decisions and localisation as well as the daily operations, where we take care of customer service, translations, shop management and online marketing, with a focus on growth and profitability. We can also do a check of your shop, to ensure that it will appear trustworthy for local consumers. New market - new customer Our in-house local country teams, knows your new market and customers expectations when shopping online, they will assist you from start until launch, preparing the webshop for the local customers. After launch, they can both do customer service, translations of product texts and localisation of marketing and social media content. In other words, use our country team as if it was your own team. The only difference is, that you only pay for the hours you need them!
