Chris Porter

Chris Porter is a seasoned aquatic management professional currently serving as Senior Manager at Making Waves Swim School in Canada, overseeing a large facility with over 100 staff and 3,000 students weekly. Prior experience includes a tenure at Life Time Inc. from August 2015 to May 2023, where Chris advanced through various leadership roles including Senior Department Manager, co-chair of the Joint Health and Safety Committee, and Regional First Aid and CPR Manager, successfully managing teams and ensuring workplace safety. Additional early experience includes Aquatics Supervisor and Head Lifeguard/Instructor at The Boulevard Club. Chris Porter holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Music Theory and Composition from Western University.
