Shanewas Shakhawat

Shanewas Shakhawat has a diverse work experience in the software industry. In 2016, they started their career as an Associate Software Engineer at data edge limited, a leading ICT System Integration and Development company in Bangladesh. Shanewas worked there for about 9 months before moving on to Sun* Vietnam in February 2017, where they served as a Software Engineer in Test. Sun* Vietnam is a Creative Studio with a large team in multiple Asian countries. Shanewas worked there for over 4 years before joining FPT Software in June 2021 as a Lead Software Test Engineer. Currently, they are working at Makini as a Software Quality Assurance Engineer. Makini is a REST API designed for tech companies to connect with various industrial systems of their customers. With this experience, Shanewas has developed expertise in software quality assurance and testing.

Shanewas Shakhawat completed a Bachelor of Science degree in "Software Engineering" from the American International University-Bangladesh from 2012 to 2016. Prior to that, Shanewas obtained their Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSC) in the field of Science from Govt. Tolaram University College between 2010 and 2012.

In addition to their formal education, Shanewas has obtained various certifications. These include "Blockchain and Bitcoin Fundamentals" and "Introduction to Blockchain with Industry Applications" from Udemy, both obtained in August 2022. Shanewas also completed the "Complete Katalon Studio 2020 for Web + API Test Automation" certification in November 2021, along with several other Udemy certifications in areas such as conscious listening, goal setting mastery, leadership skills, and time management. Shanewas also received the "Scrum 101- A fundamental look at the agile Scrum Master role" certification from Udemy in November 2021.

Furthermore, Shanewas has been recognized for their achievements and contributions in their professional career. Shanewas received the "Nominated Best Project of The Year - SKY'ss" award from Sun* Vietnam in an unspecified year, as well as the "Sun* core value award [Be a Team]" and "Top 10 best Sunners on 'OKRs Amazing Race'" awards in 2020. In 2019, they were nominated for the "Best Project of The Year - S*Goal" award from Sun* Vietnam. Additionally, Shanewas participated in the GDG Dhaka Mapup event organized by Google Developer Group Dhaka in March 2014 and obtained the "IT Essentials: PC Hardware and Software" certification from Cisco in 2013.
