Amrutha Murali

Amrutha Murali serves as the Deputy Director and Senior Manager for Early Childhood Care and Education (ECCE) at Makkala Jagriti since October 2021, focusing on empowering Anganwadi workers and fostering a joyful learning environment for children. Prior experience includes a role as Fundraising and Implementation Lead at Meghshala, where Amrutha oversaw the development of an Android app for government school teachers and promoted the use of technology for scalable, human-centered coaching. Previously, Amrutha held the position of Implementation and Partner Manager at Meghshala, successfully establishing partnerships with NGOs and schools. Amrutha's career began at Teach For India as a fellow, teaching English, Math, and Science to third grade students in a low-income school in Pune. Academic qualifications include a Diploma in Early Childhood Education from Indian Montessori Centre and a Bachelor of Technology in Biotechnology from SRM University.
