Raphael Bouskila

Raphael Bouskila has a decade of experience in the finance industry. In 2004, they began their career as a Unix Administrator at McGill University, followed by a role as an Analyst at TimeSpring Software Corporation (acquired by Double-Take Software, Inc.). In 2008, they were hired as a High-Performance Computing (HPC) Analyst at Calcul Qu\u00e9bec. From 2009 to 2011, they worked as a Research at McGill University. In 2011, they were hired as an Associate at Inerjys Ventures. In 2013, they founded and led Canada\u2019s #1 impact investment company, CoPower, now proudly owned by VanCity Bank. In 2014, they were appointed Co-Chair of the Equity Crowdfunding Alliance of Canada's Online Investment Platforms Committee. In 2016, they became a Judge & Mentor at the McGill Dobson Centre for Entrepreneurship. In 2019, they were hired as a Fintech Advisor at Finance Montr\u00e9al. Since 2018, they have been the CEO of Mako Financial Technologies, taking the Canadian finance industry by storm with automation architecture designed for wealth management processes.

Raphael Bouskila obtained their M.Sc. in Physics from the University of Toronto between 2008 and 2009. Raphael then obtained their B.Eng. in Electrical Engineering from McGill University between 2003 and 2007. In 2015, they completed the Exempt Market Products Course at the IFSE Institute, and in 2016 they completed the Partners, Directors and Senior Officers Course at the IFSE Institute.
