Shawn Prodgers, CMA

Shawn Prodgers, CMA has a long and varied work experience. Shawn began their career in 2003 as Co-Founder and CEO of the Dawson College Used Book Exchange. From 2006 to 2008, they worked as a Task Force for Indigo Music, Books & Cafe, and as a Bookkeeper for Second Act (Registered Charity). From 2009 to 2010, they were a Financial Officer for Integra Networks and a Financial Clerk for the Royal Canadian Mint. In 2011, they were a Senior Financial Analyst for Parkland Fuel Corporation, and a Consultant for DECIMAL. From 2014 to 2015, they held the role of VP, Finance & Strategic Planning for B. Frid Trucking, and Manager - Optimization and Senior Analyst, Supply for Parkland Fuel Corporation. Most recently, they have been COO & CFO and VP of Operations & Finance for Mako Financial Technologies since 2021.

Shawn Prodgers obtained their Certified Management Accountant (CMA) Designation from CMA Canada Strategic Leadership Program in 2010. Prior to this, they earned a Commerce degree in Accounting from Concordia University in 2008. In March 2011, they were certified by the CMA Order of Canada.
