Andrei Plechen

Andrei Plechen has over fifteen years of work experience in software testing and test management. Andrei began their career in 2001 as a Test Engineer at i-net Lab LLC, where they were responsible for outsourced testing of Mercury Interactive (now HP) products. In 2003, they moved to The Product Engine as a Senior Test Engineer, where they tested software development projects outsourced into Ukraine. In 2004, they joined SourceValley (now GlobalLogic Ukraine) as a Senior Test Engineer, where they were involved in software test automation for Telcordia Technologies projects outsourced into Ukraine. In 2012, they joined Mako Networks Limited as a Senior Test Engineer, and then in 2015, they moved to Mako Networks NZ Limited, also as a Senior Test Engineer.

Andrei Plechen obtained their Engineer's degree in Computer Science from Odessa National Polytechnic University between 1996 and 2001. In 2017, they received an ISTQB Certified Tester Foundation Level certification from ANZTB. In 2018, they obtained an ISTQB Certified Tester Advanced Level - Test Automation Engineer certification from ANZTB.
