Guy Fortin has over 30 years of experience in business development and sales. Guy began their career in 1985 as Division Business Manager for Dexter Water Management, where they were responsible for a 46 million dollar Sales Division. In 1999, they became the Owner of Alliance Consulting, providing consultative services within the water treatment industry and offering sales training and motivational speaking. In 2004, they joined D&S Communications, Inc. as VP Business Development, selling Ipiphony IP PBX, Hosted Services, Polycom, Nortel, Avaya, Siemens, Cisco and Spectralink, as well as providing refurbished and unused hardware and board level repair and refurbishing of most voice and data equipment. In 2012, they became Sales Director at Maron Structure Technologies. In 2013, they rejoined D&S Communications, Inc. / Mako Networks as VP Business Development, selling Mako Networks' award-winning system, which includes patented, scalable and resilient SD-WAN technology (Mako Cloud VPN), a hosted central management platform and a range of carrier agnostic, tamper-proof Network Appliances, VPN Concentrators, Wireless Access Points and Managed Switches. In 2019, they were appointed Director of Petroleum at Mako Networks, where they connect and protects thousands of remote sites for globally recognized brands for Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) compliance, secure application access and critical business communications.

Guy Fortin has a Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Marketing from Northern Illinois University, which they obtained between 1973 and 1977. Guy also graduated from Elgin High School in 1973.
