Robert Swanson

Robert Swanson has worked in the IT field since 1993. Robert began their career at Corporate Services, Inc. as a Systems Administrator, where they maintained the company's computer network and updated and maintained the company's web page. In 1998, they moved to West TeleServices as a Systems Administrator and assisted in the opening of the Rockford/Loves Park branch, and all new client start-ups for that branch. In 2000, they joined Verizon as a Sys Admin, and then Frontier Communications as a Virtualization Engineer, where they handled both “business as usual” activities and ongoing/upcoming projects. In 2015, they joined Oracle as a Sr. Systems Engineer, where they built and maintained the Security Infrastructure for Oracle, including Pre-Production, Commercial, and Fed/Civ Government/DoD (US & UK). Most recently, in 2020, they joined Mako Networks as a Senior Linux Systems Engineer.

Robert Swanson attended Rockford East High from 1987 to 1991. Robert obtained a CompTIA A+ certification from CompTIA in June 2001.
