Spelzhausen led a three-year research project at Technische Universität Berlin, developing innovative measurement methods for electronic effects in materials. As a co-founder and CTO of an undisclosed company, Spelzhausen aimed to revolutionize railway infrastructure through IoT sensors and data analysis. Spelzhausen's educational background includes a Dr.-Ing. and Master's degree from Technische Universität Berlin and a Bachelor's degree from Technische Universität Braunschweig, complemented by a semester abroad at Universidad Politécnica de Madrid.
