John Erikson

John Erikson has a diverse work experience in various industries. John started their career in 2001 as a General Manager at Panera Bread, where they successfully opened a new location and achieved high customer satisfaction ratings. John then worked as an Account Executive at Countrywide Financial Corporation in 2003. From 2005 to 2013, they held the role of Manager of Participation/Residuals Audits at Paramount Pictures, where they closed numerous audits and implemented audit policies and procedures. In 2013, they became a Lead Marketing Coordinator/Sales Manager at Hilton Worldwide, where they managed a team and negotiated specialty leasing agreements. Following that, they worked as an Investment Sales professional at Matthews Retail Advisors, specializing in the acquisition and disposition of single-tenant net-leased retail properties. John then joined Comerica Bank as a Senior Credit Analyst in 2017, assisting with underwriting commercial real estate construction financing. Currently, they serve as a VP/Senior Commercial Real Estate Underwriter at Malaga Bank, with a focus on multi-family lending and business banking underwriting.

John Erikson completed their Bachelor's degree in Entrepreneurship with a focus on Finance & Entrepreneurship from the University of Arizona - Eller College of Management between 1994 and 1998. John further pursued their education and obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Finance and Investments from the University of Miami between 1999 and 2001.
