Hossein Fotouhi is an academic professional currently serving as an Associate Professor, Senior Lecturer, and Assistant Professor at Mälardalen University since May 2015, with prior experience as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the same institution. Fotouhi completed a Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering at Universidade do Porto between 2010 and 2014, and holds an MSc. in Communication Network Engineering from Universiti Putra Malaysia, obtained from 2006 to 2008, as well as a BSc. in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Guilan, completed in 2003. Additional experience includes roles as a PhD student at FEUP, a Research Assistant at CISTER, and a Research Intern at the University of Duisburg-Essen. Fotouhi also has practical experience as a Network Engineer at Guilan Telecommunication Center and as an IT systems administrator at the University of Guilan.
