Daudi Ochieng has a rich work experience, starting with their role as the Head of Communications at Malaria Consortium since 2014. Prior to that, they had been working as a Freelance Columnist for Vision Group since 1990, generating various popular columns on video rentals, song requests, celebrity gossip, and strange but true facts. From 2006 to 2014, they held the position of Head of Social Marketing and Strategic Communications at AFFORD Project, where they were responsible for overseeing communication campaigns and designing social behavior change communication campaigns on various health issues.

Before their role at AFFORD Project, Daudi served as a Communications Consultant at Fenon Entertainment, where they designed and produced reality radio series aimed at fostering dialogue on health issues. Daudi also worked as the Vice President of Programming at Super FM from 2001 to 2005, where they were involved in setting up and managing the radio station, as well as producing programs and designing marketing campaigns. Daudi's career in broadcasting began in 1996 when they played a crucial role in setting up and running CBS FM as the Programmes Director for the Kingdom of Buganda.

Daudi Ochieng's education history begins with their O Level studies at King's College Budo from 1986 to 1990. Daudi then proceeded to St. Mary's College Kisubi, where they acquired their UACE qualification between 1991 and 1993. In 2010, Daudi pursued further studies in public health, completing a Master's in Global Health from USAID's Global Health eLearning Center and earning a Certificate in Effective Communication for Environmental Public Health from the University of Washington School of Public Health.

Daudi's education journey continued with a Master of Science degree in Integrated Marketing and Communication from Atlantic International University in 2012-2013. In 2013-2015, they pursued a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Cumbria, focusing on Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services.

Following this, Daudi specialized in Public Health Education and Promotion, obtaining an Advanced Post Graduate Diploma in Public Health from the James Lind Institute in 2014-2015. Daudi further expanded their expertise in the field with a Master of Public Health from the Texila American University Consortium from 2015 to 2018.

Throughout their career, Daudi also acquired several specialized certificates. In 2007, they received a Certificate in Mass Communication/Media Studies from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. In 2019, they earned a Certificate in Infodemic Management from the World Health Organization - Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Finally, in 2021, they obtained a Certificate in Covering the COVID-19 Vaccine: What Journalists Need to Know from The University of Texas at Austin, focusing on Journalism.
