Bernie Talimban

Bernie Talimban is an accomplished information technology executive with extensive experience in the banking sector. Currently serving as Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer at Maybank since June 2015, Bernie leads the IT department for the Philippines. Prior to this role, Bernie held the position of First Vice President and Chief Information Officer at Bank of Commerce, where responsibilities included overseeing the bank's IT systems and managing key IT initiatives. Bernie also served as Assistant Vice President and Chief Technology Officer at the Royal Bank of Scotland, managing technology services and ensuring regulatory compliance. Earlier experience includes a similar role at ABN AMRO Bank. Bernie holds educational credentials from Polytechnic University of the Philippines and University of Santo Tomas from 1991 to 1992.
