Chee Shing Lew

Chee Shing Lew currently serves as the Head of Enterprise Risk Management Group for Global Banking at Maybank since March 2023, overseeing areas such as Client Coverage and Corporate Banking. Prior to this role, Chee Shing Lew held the position of Team Lead in Capital & Market Analytics at Kuwait Finance House Malaysia from March 2018 to February 2023, supervising the preparation of Assets Liability Management Reports. Previous experience includes serving as an Associate Risk Director at the National Bank of Abu Dhabi, where responsibilities included risk reporting for Malaysia and Hong Kong, as well as an AVP focused on liquidity risk at CIMB Investment Bank. Chee Shing Lew's earlier career features roles in market risk management at Bank Islam Malaysia Berhad and RHB Bank, starting in 2008 after earning a Bachelor of Science in Actuarial Science from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia.
