Edwin Robert

Edwin Robert, FCCA, MBA, currently serves as Squad Lead for Trade Finance Transformation at Maybank, focusing on regulatory and performance reporting while applying Agile (Scrum) practices. Previously, Edwin held various leadership roles within Maybank Investment Banking Group, including Head of Performance Management, where performance activities were managed against strategic objectives, and Financial Controller in Group Technology, driving agile financial reporting capabilities. In earlier positions at Maybank, responsibilities included leading business analysis and financial reporting teams, and achieving significant transformations within the finance department. Prior experience includes serving as Regional Lead Statutory and Tax Accountant at IBM, where statutory reporting processes were standardized across Asia Pacific, and as an Auditor at Deloitte, managing a diverse client portfolio. Edwin holds an MBA in Global Financial Services from Coventry University and is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA).
