Gary Hew

Gary Hew has extensive experience in financial services, currently serving as a Senior Dealer for Corporate & CFS at Maybank since December 2023. Prior to this role, Gary held the position of Associate Director for FX & Derivatives Sales at CIMB from September 2021 to December 2023 and Senior Manager for FX & Derivatives Sales at AmBank Group from August 2019 to September 2021, specializing in corporate risk solutions for large corporates and government-linked companies. Before entering the banking sector, Gary co-founded The Private Group, an F&B consultation company, and previously worked at HSBC in various roles, including Manager of Treasury Corporate Sales and Assistant Manager of Treasury Finance, focusing on hedging solutions and compliance with regulatory requirements. Gary holds a Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Accounting & Finance and a Diploma in Economics from the London School of Economics & Political Science.
