Azmel Rasheed

Azmel Rasheed serves as the GM of Operational Excellence and Guest Experience at Malaysia Airports since March 2019, where responsibilities include strategizing and implementing operational excellence and customer experience solutions across all airports under the organization's management. Prior to this role, Azmel held the position of Vice President for Innovation & Technology at Malaysia Petroleum Resources Corporation from May 2014 to February 2019, focused on enhancing competitiveness within the oil and gas service sector. Previous experience also includes a Senior Consultant role at Schlumberger Business Consulting, Operations Performance Improvement & Change Manager at PETRONAS, and various positions at The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company, where contributions ranged from regional LEAN training to managing significant operational projects. Azmel's educational background includes an Executive Development Programme in Mastering Design Thinking and Digital Transformation Strategy from MIT Sloan School of Management, an Executive Programme in Management from the University of Melbourne, and a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering from The University of Toledo.
