Malaysian Urban Design Association
Dr. Shuhana Shamsuddin is an esteemed academic and leader in the field of urban design, currently serving as an Adjunct Professor of Urban Design at Universiti Teknologi Malaysia since September 2020 and as the President of the Malaysian Urban Design Association since January 2020. With a robust background at Universiti Teknologi Malaysia from October 1988 to April 2018, Dr. Shamsuddin held various positions, including Professor of Urban Design, Head of Department, and Associate Professor, and contributed to the Green Cities Research Group and the Innovative Construction (ICON) Research Alliance. Dr. Shamsuddin earned a PhD in Urban Design and a Master's degree in Environmental Planning for Developing Cities from the University of Nottingham, as well as a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Planning from Anglia Ruskin University.
