Jason Lomnitz

Jason Lomnitz is a seasoned professional in software engineering and data science with extensive experience in leading teams and projects. Currently serving as Director of Software at MALCOVA since August 2024, Jason previously held multiple leadership roles at HeadSpin, including Director of Engineering and Principal Engineer, contributing to advancements in machine learning and data science from September 2020 to July 2024. Jason's earlier career includes significant positions at VSP Global and UC Davis, where responsibilities ranged from R&D Software Engineer to Postdoctoral Scholar, focusing on mathematical analysis, software development in C and Python, and exploring nonlinear dynamics in biological systems. Jason holds a Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering from the University of California, Davis, and a Licentiate degree in Genomic Sciences from Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México.
