David Black

David Black, CPA, CIA has extensive experience in finance, accounting, and internal audit. David has held various roles at different companies throughout their career.

From 2017 to the present, David has been working at Malibu Boats, Inc. David started as a Staff Accountant and quickly advanced to Corporate Accountant. David then became the Director of Internal Audit before being promoted to Corporate Controller. Currently, David holds the position of Vice President of Finance & Accounting.

In 2015, David worked at Ruby Tuesday as the Director of Internal Audit and later as the Senior Director of Internal Audit.

Prior to their time at Ruby Tuesday, David held roles at Focal Point Data Risk and Bloomin' Brands, Inc. At Focal Point Data Risk, they were a Manager and then a Senior Manager. At Bloomin' Brands, Inc., they started as a Staff Accountant and later became a Senior Internal Auditor.

David began their career at TechHealth as the Director of Internal Audit, where they worked from 2009 to 2013.

Throughout their career, David has demonstrated strong expertise in finance, accounting, and internal audit, making him a valuable asset to any organization.

David Black, CPA, CIA has a Bachelor's degree in Finance from Fairmont State University, which they obtained from 2001 to 2006. David also pursued Accounting at the University of Tampa from 2011 to 2013. In addition to their education, David has obtained certifications as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) from the Board of Accountancy and as a Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) from The Institute of Internal Auditors.
