Ahmet Aykac

Ahmet Aykac is a distinguished entrepreneur and finance professional with extensive experience in private equity and venture capital. As the Founder, General Partner, and Chairman of ISTCAP Partners from July 2011 to 2018, Aykac focused on investing in rapidly growing Turkish companies across consumer-facing and intermediate goods industries with high growth potential. Prior to this, Aykac founded Golden Horn Ventures, Turkey's first early-stage venture fund, from September 2007 to July 2011. Aykac also served as Chief Advisor at Sabanci Holding and held key academic positions, including Vice Chairman of the Board of Trustees at Sabanci University and Director General at THESEUS International Management Institute. Aykac's academic credentials include an MPhil in Economics from Columbia University and a BA in Economics from Robert College.
