Omer Bakkalbasi

Omer Bakkalbasi is the current advisor at Mall IQ and was previously with Chainalytics from May 2005 to March 2010 where they held the title of Principal and VP Inventory Strategy. Omer was responsible for business assessment, demand analytics, forecasting, network design, inventory optimization, manufacturing master planning, synchronized replenishment, S&OP process design, VMI, CPFR, software evaluation and value assurance during software implementation. From May 1998 to May 2005, they were with i2 Technologies as the Director Transportation and Distribution Management Suite where they were in charge of Product Line Management, including strategic direction, product marketing, development roadmap, customer satisfaction for all post-sales issues, joint development (customer-funded) programs, business development support, point-of-contact for the Analyst community, frequent speaker at international venues. Prior to that, they were the Director Advanced Solutions Center InterTrans Logistics from December 1997 to June 1998 and Business Manager Philips Electronics from January 1989 to December 1997.

Omer Bakkalbasi is a Ph.D. student in Industrial and Systems Engineering at the Georgia Institute of Technology.
