Michael Kalar

Michael Kalar has extensive experience in environmental health, safety, and security, currently serving as the Environment, Health, Safety, and Security Manager at Mallinckrodt Pharmaceuticals since February 2017, where Michael was promoted from Principal Health & Safety Engineer to EHS Lead Engineer. Prior to this role, Kalar was the Health, Safety & Security Manager at Solvay from July 2011, following the acquisition of Rhodia, and contributed to multiple organizations including Chemtura, Alcoa, and ERM, with roles ranging from EHS&S Manager to Senior Industrial Hygienist. Kalar holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Occupational Safety from Fairmont State University and has continued professional development through education at Marshall University.
