Ravi Kumar Ongolu

Ravi Kumar Ongolu, Ph.D., currently serves as a Staff Synthetic Chemist at Mallinckrodt Pharmaceuticals since April 2024. Prior experience includes roles as a Senior Scientist at TCG GreenChem Inc. from March 2022 to April 2024, and a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the Medicines for All Institute from December 2020 to March 2022. Ravi also held a Postdoctoral Fellow position at Virginia Commonwealth University between July 2017 and December 2020, where research focused on designing and synthesizing photoaffinity probes for protein target identification and developing small molecule glycosaminoglycan mimetics for colon cancer treatment. Earlier experience includes work as a Chemist at Laurus Labs Limited from July 2009 to November 2011, emphasizing synthetic methodology for producing Resveratrol and Curcumin derivatives. Education includes a Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay (2012-2017), and a Master's degree in Organic Chemistry from Sri Krishnadevaraya University (2006-2008).
