Filippa Mellbourn

Filippa Mellbourn is an experienced financial leader currently serving as Ekonomichef for gymnasie- och vuxenutbildningsförvaltningen at Malmö stad since February 2024. Previously, Filippa held the position of Ekonomichef for arbetsmarknads- och socialförvaltning at Lunds kommun from February 2016 to February 2024, managing a team and enhancing economic processes and interdepartmental collaboration. Filippa’s extensive career also includes roles at Malmö stad from 2002 to 2016, where responsibilities ranged from unit management to pioneering new accounting principles in municipal land development. Additional experience includes positions at Gleerups Utbildning and Lernia, focusing on project leadership and educational consulting. Filippa holds a Civilekonom degree in Accounting and Auditing from Lund University, earned between 1987 and 1991.
