Mats Holmström

Mats Holmström is an experienced communications professional with a career spanning over two decades. Currently serving as the Director of Communications at Malmö stad since December 2012, Mats has also held roles such as Head of Communications within the same organization. Prior experience includes a position as Senior Advisor - Communications at the Nordic Council of Ministers from July 2006 to December 2012, and as Project Manager at Sveriges Kommuner och Regioner from July 2000 to July 2006. Mats began the communications career as a Communication Officer at Täby kommun from February 1998 to July 2000. Mats holds educational credentials from Stockholm University and Lund University.
