Thomas Fast

Thomas Fast is an experienced analyst currently employed at Malmö stad since February 2023. Previous roles include serving as Secretary for the Swedish Health Economics Association from March 2013 to March 2023, and Associate Director at Quantify Research from April 2020 to February 2023. Thomas has extensive experience in health economics, having worked as a Senior Project Manager at the Institute of Applied Economics & Health Research, and as an Analyst with the Swedish Agency for Health and Care Services Analysis. Academically, Thomas earned a PhD in Health and Labour Economics from Lund University, where also served as a teacher and held various positions representing PhD students in governance. Additional relevant experience includes work as a Health Economic Expert with Socialstyrelsen and as a research assistant at Lund University Centre for Health Economics.
