Lauren Saxton

Lauren Saxton currently serves as the Director of the Annual Fund at Willamette University, having previously held the position of Associate Director in the same department. Prior to this, Lauren worked at Columbia University in the City of New York as Associate Director for Alumni Marketing and Communications, where responsibilities included creating comprehensive marketing strategies and engaging alumni through various communication channels. Lauren also held the role of Assistant Director in Alumni Relations, External Relations, and Development at Columbia Business School, focusing on alumni communications, relationships with donors, and managing social media presence. Earlier in the career, Lauren served as Coordinator in the Career Management Center, Research Associate at the City University of New York, and an Adjunct Professor, demonstrating a robust background in education, research, and alumni engagement. Lauren holds a Ph.D. in Modern History, Public Health, and Medical History from The Graduate Center, City University of New York, and a Bachelor’s Degree in History and Classical Studies from Willamette University.
