Melissa Marks

Melissa Marks is an accomplished academic in the field of Biology with extensive experience in higher education. Currently serving as an Associate Professor of Biology at Willamette University since August 2011, Melissa previously held the position of Assistant Professor of Biology at the same institution. Prior roles include Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Chicago from July 2007 to June 2011, and Visiting Assistant Professor at Grinnell College from August 2006 to June 2007. Melissa's academic journey began at Grinnell College, where a Bachelor of Arts in Biology was earned, followed by a PhD in Developmental Biology from Stanford University, where graduate studies were conducted from 2000 to 2006.
