Christy Hilyer

Christy Hilyer has been with Malone Workforce Solutions since August of 2011 and is currently their Regional VP in Georgia. Christy started with the company as a Branch Manager where they were responsible for developing, cultivating and maintaining an entire candidate pool for placement with all clients. Christy also coordinated all loss control activities and represented the company at unemployment hearings. As Branch Manager, Christy oversaw the selection process to fill vacancies which included recruiting and interviewing as needed. Christy also managed the daily activities of the branch staff, served as liaison between branch office staff and clients, and coordinated branch activities with client requirements and requests. In addition to these responsibilities, Christy also maintained and managed OSHA requirements including all Workers’ Compensation claims and modified/light duty cases. Christy also assisted with shift coverage at major client site (coordinating employee activities with client personnel), conducted periodic audits for all new hire documentation (eVerifications, I-9, tax forms etc…), created and managed hiring activities; pre-screening, physical assessments and face-to-face interviews, and assisted in community outreach as needed; job expos, career fairs and Chamber of Commerce events. Christy also represented branch personnel at weekly client meetings to provide status updates and discuss pertinent issues; disseminating information to appropriate staff for action as required.

Christy Hilyer has a diploma in Business and Administrative Technology from West Georgia Technical College. Christy also has a diploma in Accounting and Business/Management from West Georgia Technical College. Christy has a degree in Tax Law/Taxation from H & R Block Tax School.

Christy Hilyer reports to Dawn Meyers, CEO. Christy Hilyer works with Kristen Schweizer - Director of Operations, Kelley Cure-Anderson - VP, Onsite Talent Solutions, and Glenda Armes - Director of HR.
