Fernando de Querol

Fernando de Querol is an experienced operations executive in the maritime and logistics sectors, currently serving as Chief Operations Officer at Malta Freeport Terminals since June 2018. Prior to this role, Fernando held the position of Director of Operations at SAGEP Algeciras for a brief period in early 2018 and spent a decade at Maersk Line, where significant responsibilities included vessel scheduling and terminal operations as General Manager. Additionally, Fernando worked at APM Terminals, advancing through various managerial roles focused on marine execution across Southern and Northern Europe. Fernando's educational background includes a Master in Nautical Sciences from Universidad de Cádiz, alongside specialized management training from San Telmo Business School and Lloyd's Maritime Academy.
