Julia Mandel

Julia Mandel serves as the Senior Legal and Compliance Manager at Maltego Technologies since September 2025. Previous roles include Deputy General Counsel, Senior Legal Counsel, and Legal Counsel at IDnow from 2019 to August 2025. Prior to IDnow, Julia worked as Contracts Counsel at Gartner from 2015 to 2019 and in Audit & Legal at Trusted Shops GmbH from 2010 to 2015. Julia’s early career included a position at the Federal Financial Supervisory Authority (BaFin) from 2007 to 2010 as part of the Securities Markets Authority. Julia holds an Ausbildung zur zertifizierten fachkundigen Datenschutzbeauftragten nach dem Ulmer Modell from Ulmer Akademie für Datenschutz und IT-Sicherheit, a Diplom in Business Law from Pforzheim University, a Master of Arts in Management (Accounting & Finance) from FOM University of Applied Sciences, and an LL.M. in Polish Business Law from Jagiellonian University.
