Arno Coerver

Arno Coerver is a highly experienced professional in the field of humanitarian aid and development, with a focus on WASH (Water, Sanitation and Hygiene) programs. Since June 2007, Arno has been with Malteser International, serving as Global WASH Advisor and Country Coordinator for Nepal, while also providing technical support for WASH initiatives worldwide. Previously, Arno held various roles at The Lutheran World Federation, including Regional Representative for West Africa and Representative in Burundi and Mauritania, overseeing projects aimed at post-conflict rehabilitation and refugee care. Earlier in the career, Arno managed several significant programs in Nepal and worked as a civil engineer and construction costing engineer, substantiating a solid technical background with advanced degrees in management and civil engineering from respected institutions.
