Dorothee Fees

Dorothee Fees is a HR Manager and Recruiter for Emergency Response at Malteser International. Dorothee has worked in the field of international cooperation for over 10 years, with a focus on peace and security, disaster risk management, and forced migration studies.

Dorothee has a Bachelor's degree in Social Sciences from the Johann Wolfgang Goethe-Universität Frankfurt am Main, and a Master's degree in Human Rights and Politics from Philipps-Universität Marburg.

Dorothee has worked as a research assistant in forced migration studies, an ERASMUS coordinator, and a student assistant at the Center for Conflict Studies in Marburg. Dorothee has also worked as an intern at the German Embassy in Bogotá, Colombia, the Kenya National Commission for UNESCO, the Deutsche UNESCO-Kommission e. V., and the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH.

In their current position as HR Manager/Recruiter for Emergency Response at Malteser International, they are responsible for managing recruitment processes for emergency response teams in crisis zones and conflict regions.

Dorothee Fees attended Philipps-Universität Marburg, where they received their Master of Arts in International Development Studies. Dorothee also attended University of Mannheim, where they received their Bachelor of Arts in Culture and Economy. Additionally, they participated in a Semester Exchange Program at Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú in Development Communication.
