Maria Espana

Maria Espana is a Mental Health Counselor at MAM (Memorial Assistance Ministries) and holds a position as a Bilingual Intake Immigration Legal Services. Previously, Maria held internship positions as an Emergency Room Social Work Intern at Memorial Hermann Health System and worked in Disaster Action Team and Recovery Case Work at the American Red Cross. Maria also served as the Youth Violence Prevention Coordinator at Houston Area Women's Center. Maria has a Master of Social Work (MSW) from the University of Houston Graduate College of Social Work, as well as a degree in Liberal Studies with a focus on Sociology and Psychology from the University of Houston.
