Jiri van Scherpenzeel

Jiri van Scherpenzeel has extensive work experience in finance and management. Jiri started their career as a Financial auditor at Deloitte in 2003 and worked there until 2006. Jiri then joined PricewaterhouseCoopers as a Senior Associate and later became an Assistant Manager. In 2009, they transitioned to SHV as a Business Controller and worked there until 2011. From 2011 to 2014, Jiri was the Head of Performance & Risk Management at Makro Atacadista S.A., where they were responsible for implementing performance improvement projects and developing the company's performance and risk management capability. In 2015, they joined Mammoet as a Senior Controller, and in 2016, they became the Finance Director for the Middle East region. Currently, they hold the position of Finance Director Middle East & Africa at Mammoet. Overall, Jiri has gained expertise in finance, performance management, risk management, and process improvement throughout their career.

Jiri van Scherpenzeel has a Bachelor's degree in Business Economics from HU University of Applied Sciences Utrecht. Jiri then went on to pursue an MSc in Accountancy from Nyenrode Business University, which they completed in 2009. Additionally, they obtained a Post Master of Science in Accountancy from the same university between 2006 and 2009. In 2010, they completed an Executive Master in Finance from TIAS School for Business and Society. Jiri van Scherpenzeel holds certifications as a Certified Public Accountant from the Nederlandse Beroepsorganisatie van Accountants (NBA) and as an Executive Master in Finance from TIAS School for Business and Society.
