Matthijs van Wijk

Matthijs Van Wijk began their work experience in 2001 as a Project Controller at Akerkvaerner. From April 2004 to April 2009, they worked as a Manager Controlling at Mammoet Holding B.V. Following this, they held the role of CFO and board member at Mammoet in the USA and Latin America from May 2009 to July 2016. Currently, they work as the Head of Finance at Mammoet Holding B.V., where they are responsible for financial control, business control, project control, and day-to-day management of corresponding Holding departments. Matthijs also initiates and oversees global policy-making and improvement projects.

Matthijs Van Wijk attended Harvard Business School in 2013, where they studied Risk Management for Corporate Leaders. Prior to that, they attended Erasmus University Rotterdam from 2005 to 2011, where they obtained their EMFC/RC degree in Controlling. Matthijs also attended Erasmus University Rotterdam from 1997 to 2000, earning a MSC degree in Business administration/Finance. Matthijs'seducation journey began at HAN University of Applied Sciences from 1993 to 1997, where they obtained their Ing. degree in Mechanical engineering.
