Melvin Schaap

Melvin Schaap is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in learning and development, corporate communication, and project management. Currently serving as the Global Head of Learning & Knowledge Management at Mammoet since May 2008, Melvin has held various roles including Senior Learning & Development Advisor and Corporate Communication Officer, focusing on corporate communications strategy and e-learning initiatives. Previously, Melvin worked at Fortis Bank Nederland Hypotheken Groep as a general advisor and commercial employee, and gained experience in volunteer coordination during an internship at the Oerol Festival. Melvin's educational background includes a Master of Arts in Cultural Studies from Utrecht University and multiple qualifications from Erasmus University Rotterdam, including a Bachelor of Arts in Cultural Studies and a certificate in Arts Management.
