Mujtaba Murtaza's work experience began in 2017 as a Web Designer at Festoony. From 2017 to 2018, they also held multiple roles at the IU School of Informatics and Computing at IUPUI, including SoIC Student Ambassador and iDew Peer Mentor.

In 2018, Mujtaba became a Web Developer at the IUPUI Division of Undergraduate Education, where they managed and designed content for multiple websites and handled email communications for thousands of students and staff using WCMS and Salesforce/Mailchimp.

From 2019 to 2020, they served as a Teaching Assistant, assisting with teaching web development courses and grading assignments. Mujtaba also continued their work as a Student Ambassador at the IU School of Informatics and Computing, where they helped prospective students and led tours.

In 2020, Mujtaba worked as a Frontend Developer at IEDEA, maintaining the company's website and designing and developing a microsite using Next.js and Tailwind CSS. Mujtaba also worked as a Frontend Developer at SMART IEDEA, creating virtual environments and running live events.

Recently, in 2021, they joined Mamo as a UX Engineer, bringing pixel-perfect designs to life by coding and designing. Mujtaba leveraged SCSS to build an atomic design system and redesign the Mamo Pay for Business dashboard.

In 2022, Mujtaba also became a Design & Engineering Mentor at adplist.org, using their expertise to mentor others in the field.

Mujtaba Murtaza attended Indiana University–Purdue University Indianapolis from 2016 to 2020, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Media Arts and Science. In addition to their formal education, Mujtaba has also obtained various certifications, including 10 Mentorship Sessions and 100 Mentorship Minutes from adplist.org in March and January 2023, respectively. Mujtaba also completed the courses "React - The Complete Guide (incl Hooks, React Router, Redux)" and "Build Web Apps with Vue JS 2 & Firebase" from Udemy in May and February 2020, respectively. Furthermore, in July 2019, they finished the course "The Complete Javascript Course 2019: Build Real Projects!" and obtained certifications in "Advanced CSS and Sass: Flexbox, Grid, Animations and More!" and "Web Design for Web Developers: Build Beautiful Websites!" from Udemy in June 2019. Lastly, they completed "Google Analytics for Beginners" certification provided by Google in March 2020.
