Stefan Mayer

Stefan Mayer is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in the field of fluid mechanics and combustion research. Currently serving as a Senior Manager at MAN Energy Solutions since 2011, Stefan Mayer oversees the development of hydraulics and fuel injection systems for low-speed engines, with a focus on numerical simulation and CFD analysis. Previously, in roles such as Head of Engine Process Research, Stefan Mayer led a diverse international team in engine thermodynamics research. Prior positions at MAN Diesel & Turbo included Head of Basic Research for Low Speed and Senior Research Engineer, focusing on numerical modeling and simulation. Stefan Mayer's earlier experience includes serving as an Associate Research Professor at DTU and a Research Engineer at DHI. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Fluid Mechanics and a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, both obtained from the Technical University of Denmark.
