Dr. Marc Langendorf

Dr. Marc Langendorf has a diverse work experience in communications and government affairs. Dr. Marc most recently held the position of Head of Communications & Government Affairs at MAN Truck & Bus SE since December 2021. Prior to that, they served as the Head of Communications at Telefónica Germany from May 2020 to January 2022. Dr. Marc also worked as the Head of Corporate Communications at Volkswagen from May 2018 to May 2020. Before these roles, Dr. Langendorf worked at Brunswick Group as a Director, advising clients on various communication issues, specializing in M&A, financial communications, compliance communications, restructuring cases, and media work. Dr. Marc also served as the Interims Head of Corp. Comms/Investor Relations at ALSO Holding AG from October 2015 to May 2017. Dr. Langendorf has a long history at Siemens, holding several positions in Corporate Communications & Government Affairs. In their last role at Siemens, they were the Deputy Head of Corp. Communications & Government Affairs, responsible for global internal and external communications. Prior to joining Siemens, they worked as a Senior Editor at Dow Jones News GmbH, focusing on corporate topics in the industrial goods sector, automotive industry, and technology.

Dr. Marc Langendorf received their Bachelor's degree from Gymnasium Neunkirchen in 1993. Dr. Marc then pursued further studies at Universität Siegen from 1994 to 1997, focusing on Business Administration and Management. In 1997, they continued their studies at FAU Erlangen-Nürnberg, specializing in Business Administration and Management. Dr. Langendorf also completed additional coursework in Economics at Université de Bourgogne in 1998-1999. Finally, they earned their Ph.D. in Business & Computer Science from FAU Erlangen-Nürnberg between 2001 and 2006.
